“Love Always Wins” || Tanner & Brooke
I first heard about Tanner and Brooke’s Wedding one week before it took place. The owner of the venue (Sharon at Belle Chapel in Snohomish) approached me and told me about them and their story and I was heartbroken and moved. I knew I wanted to help them in any way that I could. They planned the entire thing in 8 days. 8 days!!! I didn’t know what to expect, but I knew it was going to be an amazing day.
This amazing couple had their world shaken just before I found out about their wedding. Brooke had been diagnosed with cancer and needed to start chemotherapy, and all life plans came to a screeching halt. But they rallied and decided they wanted to get married; despite the tight timeframe. Despite the life challenges they were facing. Despite all the obstacles. Their love is stronger than all of that and is the force that will help them get be able to face this new challenge together.
So with a lot of help, they made it happen. Their friends, family, and community came together and put together the wedding of their dreams. The venue was gorgeous, the decor and details were amazing, the people were fantastic, and even the clouds parted and it was a beautiful sunny day (in February! In Snohomish!). And most of all, the love between Tanner and Brooke was so moving and beautiful to watch.
This was a day for celebrating. For Partying. For laughter, joy, and love. This was a day to celebrate two beautiful souls joining together forever in marriage and choosing to take on life’s challenges together forever. I am so glad I was able to be a part of this celebration and capture this incredible day for them. I truly feel blessed. And I wish them a long life full of laughter and memories together.
